HOWARD HUGHES PROFESSIONAL BUILDING

Chanen provided general contracting services for Howard Hughes Properties' Professional Building, in Las Vegas.

The build-to-suit project consisted of constructing a three-story structural steel corporate office building including $3.2 million in tenant improvements. The 80,000-sq.-ft., $9 million facility is designed to accommodate a 20,000-sq.-ft. expansion.

The original tenant, Equinox International, was focused on environmentally safe products. This has been incorporated into the building's interior design using colors of blue and brown palettes to emulate ocean bionomics and their various tidal zones. The tenant improvements also included state-of-the-art data and computer facilities along with extensive security systems.
