Job Requirements:
Candidate must have a Bachelors degree in Architecture, Construction Management or related field. A minimum of 10 years experience in high-end custom home construction is required. Must have in depth understanding of the custom home building process, including shop drawings, scheduling, estimating and job coordination. Candidate must also be able to work effectively with architects, homeowners, and subcontractors and have a passion for excellence and a personal commitment to quality and a love of high-end finish work.
A strong technical background with experience in building codes, specifications, and construction administration is required.
Job Responsibilities:
Candidate must be experienced in Pre-Construction and construction phases of projects and possess the following skills:
- Resolves all design and technical issues that arise during the project.
- Works with Site Supervisor to schedule activity of all construction team members
(staff and subcontractors).
- Works with the client and architect to resolve product selections.
- Orders materials based on detailed take-offs and schedules delivery to site.
- Responsible for pricing, documenting, and presenting any client change orders.
- Tracks all project costs, schedules and continually monitors budgets.
- Resolves any client conflicts.
- Responsible for bidding out trades and awarding contracts.
- Strong oral and written communication skills required.
