A Chanen joint venture is the construction manager at risk for a 61,000 sq. ft. Library Technology Center at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois.
This $13 million, combination library/classroom building includes library collections, a medical informatics laboratory, the Perrin Medical History Library, comfortable study areas and student lounges, and a 1,000-seat auditorium.
The Library Technology Center was being constructed in conjunction with the Academic Laboratory Center.
The entry road was totally rebuilt. It was widened and realigned and includes a new information/communications building. The project also includes major site work with additional parking and infrastructure.
