Job Requirements:
This position requires 10+ year’s construction experience and a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree. Strong math and engineering skills preferred. Also requires knowledge of codes and ability to evaluate and measure standards. Applicant must be detail oriented and should also possess excellent written and communication skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform on/off site inspections and witness tests applicable to discipline to determine acceptability of work as required.
- Maintain work performance records and prepare daily inspection records.
- Prepare and implement quality control procedures.
- Monitor subcontractor work to ensure compliance with company standards, procedures and codes when applicable.
- Coordinate quality control inspection schedule.
- Review purchase documents to ensure compliance with quality control requirements.
- Be familiar with pertinent plans and specs.
- Conduct internal/external quality control audits.
- Define corrective measures for problem areas and ensure implementation.
