CONSTRUCTION PROJECT SCHEDULER
Job Requirements: This position requires 5 years working experience creating schedules for commercial construction projects. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture is required. Also requires proficiency with Sure Trak, Primavera, and Microsoft project software. Applicant must be able to work with Project Managers and Superintendents in developing a master project schedule and must continue communication throughout the schedule to update accordingly. Responsible for performing schedule analysis for change orders and claims. Must be able to train field personnel on scheduling procedures.

The following is a list of general responsibilities for this position. It is understood that these general responsibilities are not inclusive of all the duties that this position requires, but instead, are intended as a general scope of work.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop schedules and work-hour forecasts. The schedule needs to integrate all significant owner, architectural, engineering, general contractor and subcontractor work which should be planned, scheduled and resource leveled

  • Utilize Primavera P3 as the scheduling software tool.

  • Monitor and update activities to keep the schedule current and the project on track.

  • Be responsible for maintaining standard project control work practices for a construction program.

  • Implement the work breakdown/activity coding methodology to be used on the project schedules.

  • Assist in integration of the schedule with the project cost reporting system (knowledge of Timberline cost system knowledge is valuable, but not mandatory).

  • Draft minutes and reports from various scheduling and project team meetings.

  • Input data in project management system (knowledge of Meridian Prolog Manager or Project Talk is valuable but not mandatory).
